Have you ever considered that each of you would start your own blog?
No. Either together or not at all. That is partly what defines our blog.

How did you come up with your blog name and what does it mean?
Ofi: Nisi wanted “Teeth” in the name and I wanted “Jade”. Simply thrown together. So it already has a translation, but actually no meaning. But it already arouses interest or not;)

Which part of the Philippines are you from?
Our mother is from Lucena City, which is about 3 hours by car from Manila.

And are you fluent in Tagalog?
Not fluent, but you can communicate;)

Do you live alone or with your mother? :)
Neither nor. We live with our father.

Do you still live together in me, your father and brother?
No, we live with our father. Our brother moved out a long time ago and is currently living in Hamburg because of his training and work.

Nisi, how did you get to know your boyfriend? Does Desi have a boyfriend?
Nisi: In the university. Strictly speaking, he was the first person I actively approached, but it didn't work until later;) And Desi is single.

How often do you see your mother? Have you been to the Philippines often?
Once a year she comes to Germany for a while. But next year we will fly to her. We were there almost every year up to the 7th grade. The last time 6 years ago.

Are you planning to visit the Philippines again?
Desi: I'll be there again from February 12th to April 1st, 2011 and Nisi will be flying there with her boyfriend in August.

Do you have separate rooms?

We believe in god. We were baptized Catholics, but we have little relation to the Catholic Church.

Nisi: Computer science at the TU Berlin.

Desi: I am currently studying international business administration. But I'll try my luck again next year for other subjects. Like media studies.

Nisi, how did you get started on your course?

Are you planning to move out sometime because of your studies?

Nisi: In general, I would move out, but I don't see that in the near future.

Desi, how did the exams go? Are you satisfied with the results?
Desi: So far only the result of one exam has been published. I wrote two. But I am more than satisfied with this grade ☺ (1.3).

How are you doing with your studies?
Nisi: It was definitely the right choice, even if it is not always easy.
Desi: I'm still pretty much at the beginning of my studies. It's still going very well, but it's still open whether I should study something else.

And why doesn't Desi study in Berlin?
Desi: Because the courses for which I was accepted in Berlin did not fully appeal to me. So I didn't choose that entirely;)

They are just like normal jeans, only there is a more extensive range of sizes, e.g. with shorter leg lengths, etc.

W25-26 L30 at Topshop and H&M Jeans, it always depends ... 26-29.

We bought it from GinaTricot on our vacation in Sweden.

No not all. Everyone already has their favorite parts that nobody is allowed to touch;)

Nisi: I use everything from John Frieda: brown shampoo and brown conditioner, miracle cure and the care spray.
Desi: I use a Rossmann brand red shampoo and no care products, haha ​​xD

Never, because we either cut our hair ourselves or each other;)

Nisi: Shoot. It didn't hurt, but the eye-nose reflex made tears well up my eyes.

It's been on our to-do list for a long time, but we just haven't gotten around to it ☹

Nisi: I swear by Jovan Musk Oil EdP and Bvlgari Jasmin Noir.
Desi: I love Noami Campbell “Naomi Campbell” EdT, the coconut perfume by Yves Rocher and “Trésor” by Lancôme.

What does your morning beauty routine look like / Which products do you use?
Nisi: Sea sand face peeling from AOK for cleaning (even if you should only use it 3-4 times a week) and Nivea Soft face cream. Then stop with the usual make-up (LINK!). In the evening, make-up removal also requires nourishing cleansing wipes from Nivea Visage (for dry and sensitive skin).
Desi: After showering, I like to use the nourishing cleansing wipes from Nivea Visage again and then the moisturizing day cream from Balea (DM) for normal and combination skin.

Do you have tattoos? Or other piercings besides Nisi in your nose?
Nisi: I have two black stars on the lower back (link, link), nothing more except for the flesh tunnel and a few more pierced ears.
Desi: I have a pink star on my neck, but I want to have it engraved in black soon. No piercings, but had a lip ligament piercing once.

Which curling iron do you have? / Which curling iron would you recommend?
We once had a Remington model, but now there are much better ones ☺ In addition, it is much easier with the straightening irons if you have the trick.

No.

Which lenses do you use for your Canon? How expensive were they?
The kit lens 18-50mm, which was offered together with the camera. Recently the 50mm f / 1.8, which cost 104.50.

Desi: When I was at school I had rowing, windsurfing and skiing, but privately we really don't do any sport, haha. And we don’t pay any attention to nutrition: D the main thing is delicious.

Since we already had our typical German Christmas dinner last year (red cabbage, potatoes, duck, etc.), we are doing our Asian Christmas dinner again this year (prawns with curry coconut milk, various vegetables and rice)

What do you think of eBooks?
Finding us has to be touchable, so you have to feel the sides. But in itself it's actually quite practical, so if you have the money, why not.

Desi: Actually yes, I will definitely come back at some point.

Do you have a job? If so, how often do you work and how much money do you have available per month? How much do you spend on clothes?
Nisi: I have been working for 2 years. At the moment I only work once a week because I need more time for uni, in the past I often worked 80 hours. in the month. So there is money depending on how much I work (€ 6 an hour). I can't say exactly how much I spend on clothes in general, but you always know when we buy something.
Desi: I used to work in the call center, but that wasn't for me;) And now with the university I can't do it any more. I'm there from morning to evening during the week and I would also like to have time to study and free time;) Fortunately, I don't have an expensive lifestyle or, to put it another way, I can handle little money.

Do you only go shopping from your student loan?
Nisi: I work and with that I go shopping, my student loan is money for everything I “need” for life.
Desi: Since I have no other choice, I will of course use the student loan money for a little shopping;)

Do you ever post children's photos of yourself? :)
We don't necessarily plan now.

What do you like most about Berlin and what do you not like at all?
Simply the typical big city life, here there is simply everything, here you can do everything, there are many events, Berlin in particular is culturally very diverse and interesting. Our transport network is also very good. We don't have any reasons to move from here, so we can't think of a lot of negative things at all - at most that Berlin doesn't (yet) have a Topshop, GinaTricot and UrbanOutfitters;>

Do you like horror movies?
Well, we always like to watch horror films, but then regret it again because we are really scared of something like that.

English, Tagalog (Filipino) and a little French.

Nisi: From the supermarket green tea - lemon from Rewe. For Asians, guava or lychee juice. Ginger ale at general restaurants. And for cocktails the fruity ones with vodka, rum and gin or frozen daiquiris.
Desi: I like peach iced tea, pineapple and mango juice, ginger ale in restaurants and, when I go out, I prefer fruity vodka-cream cocktails.

Where can you go shopping in Berlin? Are there any "secret" hidden stores that you would recommend? Because when I was there recently I couldn't find any good stores other than 1000 H&M and Zaras ...
All of the insider tips are usually outside of our budget, so we can't say much about them now. You can see that we often shop at H&M & Co and online shops ^^
