Yes, but the amount is so small that, according to the state of the art, there is no concrete health risk for humans. Only modern analytics make it possible to detect the smallest traces that are a thousand times below the amounts that could have an effect on our body.
- "Drinking water can contain nitrate."
Exceeding the limit value of nitrate in drinking water is very rare. Most water suppliers are well below the nitrate limit value.
- "Drinking water filters help purify the body."
There is no such thing as "slag"! So no help of this kind is possible either.
- "Drinking water filters can filter out lead, which is contained in many pipes."
Drinking water filters should not be used to filter out lead. Houses built after 1973 do not have lead pipes. If someone suspects that they still have lead pipes in the house, they should have their tap water checked.

Tap water in Germany is of very good quality and cannot be responsible for such diseases.
