Your stay at Munich Airport

Masks must be worn in the terminals

Wearing mouth and nose protection at Munich Airport is compulsory in the terminals and in the Munich Airport Center (MAC).

If you need a replacement during your trip, you can purchase masks and other hygiene items from pharmacies, drugstores or from the hygiene products vending machine.

In Bavaria, people aged 15 and over are required to wear an FFP2 mask for local public transport such as buses and trains as well as for retailers. This also applies to the shopping opportunities at Munich Airport.

Shops and restaurants

Due to a corresponding official order, only shops for daily needs - such as grocery stores, pharmacies or drug stores - are allowed to open at Munich Airport. MyDutyFree and MyCorner are also open.

For all other shops, depending on the 7-day incidence value of the district of Erding, different regulations apply, from opening to "Click & Meet" to "Click & Collect" or closing.

Some restaurants at Munich Airport are open. Food and drinks are only available to take away.

Please note that there may be changes in opening times and closings at short notice.
